Claudia Kays, 74, of Cloverdale passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 21, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Robert G. Seifert and Norma (Reed) Lukkarila, born on December 25, 1944 in Ashabula, Ohio.
Claudia graduated from Mooresville High School in 1964. She was a hairdresser for several years and built starters at Automotive Armature in Mooresville.
She enjoyed puzzles, arts, painting, camping, canning and card games.
Claudia is survived by her three children Gail Davis, Todd (Brenda) Kays, and Melvin "Jay" Kays; eight grandchildren Ryan Davis, April Garske, Zach Davis, Corey Kays, Cassey, Kays, Skylar Kays, Andy Kays and Katie Kays; twelve great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter; and three brothers Rolf, Corey, and Jeff Lukkarila.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Sunday, April 28th at the Mooresville American Legion.
