Elisha “Junior” Enochs, age 84, of Linton, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at Community Hospital. He was born March 20, 1935 in Pleasantville, Indiana, the son of Elisha Enochs, Sr and Bessie (Price) Enochs.
He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed his family very much and spending time with his friends at McDonald’s. He spent his entire life in Linton. He enjoyed watching IU basketball and in his earlier years was an avid fan of horseracing, owning a couple horses at one time. He also loved camping with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Keith Enochs and Lisa DuBoise; grandchildren, Chelsea, Jessica, and Jordyn DuBoise; and great-grandchildren, Distance and Ember Delph and Castlyn Starnes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey “Terry” Enochs, parents, brother John Enochs, and sister Ruth Chappell.
Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, with Milford Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 12, at 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
