Ingeborg "Inge" Susie Ogden, age 68, of Linton, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 5, 2018, at Lyons Health & Living Center in Lyons. She was born April 26, 1950, in Marketseft/Main, Germany, the daughter of Albert & Martha (Alt) Tetzlaff.
She graduated from high school and college in Kitzingen/Minn, Germany for nurse’s training, worked as the activity director at Linton Nursing Home for fifteen years, worked as a CNA & QMA for seventeen years at the Linton Nursing Home, & worked at JoEtta’s Pizza Villa for seventeen years. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary & Moose Lodge, both in Linton.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Rogers, Troy Ogden, & Bill Ogden, a daughter, Tonya Ogden Holley, a brother, Werner Tetzlaff of Erickenhausen/Main, Germany, three sisters, Brigitee Prucker of Munich, Germany, Angelika Altin of Ocksenfurt/Main, Germany, & Monika Lang of Markbreitmain/Main, Germany, & seven grandchildren, Laura, Claire, Andrew, Chloe, Rick, Kalie, & Beth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, George Ogden.
A funeral service will be conducted at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 11 A.M. until the time of service.
