Jean Clark, 80, of Spencer, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 26, 2018 at I.U. West Hospital in Avon. She was born on August 31, 1937, in Patricksburg, Indiana to Elvin and Lollie (Graham) Honn. Jean attended Patricksburg High School and was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother. Jean loved her family dearly. She was a member of the Spencer United Methodist Church, part of her service there was planning funeral dinners, and she was very dedicated in fulfilling that calling. Her family and friends will remember Jean as a wonderful cook. She was famous for her giant chocolate chip cookies on our birthdays and her homegrown cucumbers turned into delicious pickles.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Marla (Tom) Lenz of Plainfield, Dorinda (Roger) Deckard of Avon; her four grandchildren, Abigail (Santi) Apodaca of Ingalls, Gregory Lenz (Catherine Anagnos) of Indianapolis, Mallory Deckard (Clay Ellerbrook and Alexis) of Evansville, Kelsey (Chris) Argote of Danville; one great-grandson, Elias Apodaca of Ingalls; brother, Dick (Mary Lou) Honn of Patricksburg, sisters, Norma Herrington of Patricksburg, Lela Upton of Ellettsville, Loretta (Leon) Morris of Spencer and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 42 years, Donald Clark; best friend of 18 years, John Page; siblings, Charles Honn, Geneva Chaney, Mary Russell, and William Honn.
