Judy R. (Trueblood)Bain, 76, of Spencer, passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Judy was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 2, 1942, to Harold and Mary (Sluder) Trueblood. Judy graduated from Shelburn High School in Sullivan County, Indiana.
Judy was a devoted member of the Spencer First Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star and the Spencer Lions Club. She worked for a number of years at the Spencer Public Library and Columbia Records in Terre Haute, Indiana, where she rode to and form work with her son Tim.
Judy never saw a butterfly she didn't love. She surrounded herself with the colorful replicas outside the house, inside the house and maybe even in the basement.
She was the devoted wife of Charles "Chuck" Bain, who was a long time postal carrier in Spencer.
Judy is survived by her brother, Bill Trueblood of Camden, Indiana, Sister, Nancy Elmore of Valdosta, Georgia, brother-in-law, John (Marilyn) Bain of Indianapolis, nieces and nephews, Lesley Haflich of Noblesville, Indiana, Corbin Bain of Dallas, Texas, Adam Bain of Washington D.C., Robyn Cefali of Fishers, Indiana, Dana Bain of Fishers, Indiana, and Colin Bain of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, Spencer, Indiana. Dr. Allan Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, Indiana.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Church or the Owen County Community Fund, through the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.westparrishpedigo.com.
