Lola L. (Long) Fiscus, 86, of Spencer, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Lola was born on July 28, 1932 in Owen County, she was the daughter of Chester and Daisy (Ooley) Long.
Lola was a graduate of Spencer High School class of 1951. She married Ralph Fiscus on July 21, 1951. Lola was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She also worked at RCA in Bloomington and was a bookkeeper for the Washington Township Trustee in Spencer. Lola was a former member of the Pleasant Hill Church.
Lola is survived by her son, Paul Fiscus (Linda); four daughters, Delores McRoberts (Roy), Katherine Ragle (Tom), Carol Rood and Mary Fulford (Randy); one sister, Edith English; twelve grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, ten great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters Thelma Honeycutt and Amanda Fulford, two brothers Ralph Long and Lowell "Lou" Long, son-in-law Bradley Rood, and two grandsons Brian Rood and Israel Rood.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home with Roy McRoberts officiating. Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
