Mary Rachael (McCrocklin) Haag, age 90, of Indianapolis, formerly of Fishers and Linton, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Hymera on July 9, 1927, the daughter of Earl & Alice Rebecca (Morrison) McCrocklin.
She was preceded in death by Maurice L. Haag, to whom she was married 61 years. They were long-time members of the Linton First United Methodist Church.
“Chick” lived in Linton, Indiana and was an RN at Freeman Greene County Hospital and later Greene County General Hospital from 1948-1989, mostly in the OB. She later joined her husband at Haag Medical Laboratory in Linton. Upon their retirement, they moved to Fishers.
She is survived by her three children, David E. (Mindy) Haag, MD, of Pendleton, Mary Beth (Donald) Hinkle, MD, of Indianapolis, and Susan Flores, RN, of Indianapolis, six grandchildren, Douglas Haag, Daniel Haag, Lauren (Hinkle) Janes, Gregory Hinkle, Gretchen Phillips, and Maria Flores, eight great-grandchildren, and a sister, Rebecca Ann Rambis. She will be sadly missed.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Earl McCrocklin, and a sister, Bonnie Alice Borders.
Graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Linton at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 27, 2018, with Marilyn Griffith officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
