Morris L. Campbell, 64, of Spencer, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at IU Health, Bloomington. He was born in Spencer, Indiana on February 11, 1954, the son of the late Chester Campbell & Ernestine (Hendrick) Campbell.
Morris was well known for being a farmer, a skilled heavy equipment operator, and a skilled machinist for Cook Polymer in Bloomington. He loves spending time with his grandchildren, family, and riding his motorcycle. Morris also enjoyed being outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Teresa Campbell; son, Nick (Leah) Campbell of Carmel; daughter, Haley (Adam) Ferguson of West Lafayette; grandchildren, Ella Ferguson, Drew Ferguson, Nora Campbell and Lilly Campbell; siblings, Shirley Melvin of Indianapolis, Gregory Campbell of Spencer, Michael Campbell of Spencer, Audrey Miller of Spencer, Nancy LeFaure of Spencer, and Marvin Campbell of Spencer.
Morris is preceded in death by his siblings, Doris Houpt, Denver Campbell and Donald Campbell.
Funeral service will be held at the Spencer United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018, with Pastor Drew Baker and Dr. Diane Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to the Spencer United Methodist Church.
