Robert Stanley Fulk, age 81, of Spencer, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at his home. He was born December 5, 1937 to Marian Doyle Fulk and Minnie (Hoot) Fulk.
He was a 1955 graduate of Spencer High School; served in the Spencer National Guard as a Sargent for 9 years. He retired from General Motors (GM) in Indianapolis after 36 years and had been a dedicated custodian of the Spencer United Methodist Church for 60 years.
He was skilled at fixing things mechanically and loved his pets at home.
Stanley is survived by his daughter, Teresa J. (Fulk) Campbell of Spencer; granddaughter, Haley R. Ferguson of West Lafayette; great grandchildren, Ella and Drew Ferguson of West Lafayette; grandson, Nicholas "Nick" (Leah) Campbell of Carmel; great grandchildren, Nora M. and Lillian G. Campbell of Carmel; son, Jeff K (Natalie) Fulk of Portland, TN; granddaughter, Airica M. (Joseph) Kemper; great granddaughter, Faith N. Kemper; granddaughter, Lydia J. (Matt) Hunter; great granddaughters, Elleigh, Megan and Whitney Hunter all of Portland, TN; brother, Gary R. (Diana) Fulk and niece, Ashley A. Fulk of Kansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife and mother of his children, Shirley Ann (Hendricks) Fulk; son-in-law, Morris L. Campbell and last wife Sharon E. Fulk.
Funeral service will be held at the Spencer United Methodist Church at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 27, 2019 with Pastor Drew Baker officiating.
Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at Spencer United Methodist Church on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer United Methodist Church or Spencer Humane Society through the funeral home.
