Nanny was known for her love and wisdom, having left this quote to her family;
"God was the strength that has gotten me through my life. He stood with me in front of each coffin and held me up. He has been the one in my bedroom at night that I have talked too. When I am gone, I want my family to hold on to one another. Family is the people that will step up and unite because you are all hurting and you all know the same hurt. It doesn't matter if you approve of them or their lifestyle; you all share the same memories, the good and the bad. It is so important to keep in touch with your family and not judge them. you can't think that you don't need them, that you only cling to one person in life. Family has been there forever; the arms that held us when we lost so many and they will be there to hold each of you again." Nanny would not want anyone to be sad, her slogan through all her heartache...."There's always tomorrow."
Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 North Montgomery Street, Spencer, Indiana 47460.
